Man arrested after incident in Hatfield Town Centre |

Police have made an arrest after reports of a man assaulting people in Hatfield town centre this morning (Thursday 20 November). An attempted theft was also reported. PC Tristan Ives said: “We appreciate this incident caused alarm and we would like to reassure the community that a man aged in his 20s has been arrested in relation to these reports. No weapons were involved and we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the reports. “One person was taken to hospital to be checked over.
